Our Services

Recording and Tracking Sessions

These are by the hour studio sessions that come with an engineer to operate your session. The services that come with by the hour sessions are recording, editing, and rough mixing, all to be completed within your scheduled time. The engineer’s skills here at Solar Sound Studio are advanced & quick. Your rough mix usually will end up sounding like a complete mix if allotted enough time for the rough mix in your session. Actual mixing and mastering is a separate process from recording. If you would like your song mixed completely, not based on time, you can book a mix session to get a full sonic mix. You may also book a longer session if you would like to focus on mixing during your recording time.

Mixing

Superior mixing is one of the essential elements to creating a good record. A hit song has to have all the elements of the recording highlighted in their proper form. We supply that here at Solar Sound Studio. Mixing is done on a per song basis, not hourly. Mixing sessions are unattended with a typical 2-5 day turnaround, based on the current workload. Mix sessions can be attended upon request. We welcome songs or projects that are recorded other places. Just supply the ProTools Session Data or the exported stems from whichever DAW or software used. Please call for mixing services & package deals.

Mastering

Once your project has been recorded and mixed to a top quality standard, the final step is mastering. We use ProTools HD for mastering your final mix. We need a recommended 24bit data file of the 2track mix that has no plug ins such as compressors or limiters on the master fader. Mastering is done on a per song basis and is an unattended session. Typical turn around is 1-3 days. Please Call for mastering services & package deals.

Vance Vision

Owner / CEO
Head Engineer
Recording, Mixing, Engineering

Solar Sound Studio was established 2006 by Vance Vision to offer the best audio tracking and mixing to Atlanta’s recording community. Owner and head engineer Vance Vision has over 20 years of professional experience in the Recording Industry. Vance has a B.A. in communications from Clark Atlanta University and has a Recording Degree from Full Sail University. He has engineered and mixed for projects featured on BET “Monique Show” and ABC Family “Looks Of Love”, and worked on platinum projects such as T.I.’s “Trap Music”, Britney Spears “In The Zone”, and Akon “Locked Up”. After gaining experience from engineering at other studios for years such as Jagged Edge’s JOI Studios, Patchwerk Studios, and Red Zone Entertainment, Vance opened his very own location Solar Sound Studio. Some of Vance’s Solar Sound Studio clients include Lil Keed, Future, Young Thug, Suzann Christine, 8Ball & MJG, Sa Roc, Bizarre of D12, and Public Enemy. Solar Sound Studio has become a local Atlanta favorite studio since it’s conception and will continue to offer the most talented engineers and best service. We look forward to recording and mixing your next hit!

 

Anthony “Teddy” Biassi

Anthony “Teddy” Biassi is an accomplished engineer and producer from Long Island, NY.

During high school Teddy excelled in music production and was recognized by music mogul, Ryan Leslie, where he began engineering as an intern. He went on to study at Norfolk State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education & Music Media.

With over 15 years of experience, Teddy is well known for professional mixing and production; boasting a résumé to include artists such as: Benny The Butcher, Cassie, Ashanti, Waka Flaka, H.E.R, and production credits on major TV networks such as BET and VH1.

Kip Hilson

Kip Hilson is a professional audio engineer of 10 years. He was no stranger to recording studios prior to his start in engineering. With Grammy-nominated recording artist Keri Hilson being his sister, he spent a lot of his adolescent years sitting in studio sessions learning the song-making process and recording terminology. Kip Hilson has recorded sessions and produced for artists such as Young Thug, Migo’s, T.I., Keri Hilson, Raury and Kia Shine.
